SHE IS HERE!!!!

Ok so after all of the comotion, we finally have a baby girl!!! Lily May was born on the 19th of February at 12.09pm. She weighed 7lb 13oz and was 49cms long. I was transported from cleve to whyalla via ambulance (precaution) and was switched half way to whyalla into a whayalla ambulance. After switching contractions began hotting up and we were lucky to make it to the hospital. Only managed two contractions int he hospital and she was here. Very quick arival, she was a bit bruised due to the speed, and they are saying that it was only a 56 minute labour. OMG!!! wouldnt like to take too much time getting to the hospital if there is ever a next time :).

She is adorable, and we were expecting a boy too, which made it a nice suprise. We didnt know what we were having, but had tried the ol' ring on the cotton trick and both times it told us it was a boy!! So we were pretty convinced, i had washed all of the boys clothes, blankets and even took boys clothes to the hospital. Daniel raced to the shops to get a pink outfit to bring her home in ;).

Seth and Lexi love her, all they want to do is cuddle her. They have done a great job of helping out, they like to help bath her and they are always by my side when she wakes up and i go to get her.

BABY NEWS!!

I dont know if this is getting better or worse honestly!! I have since found out that i have a good chance of being able to come back to cleve after having the baby, what a relief yay! However i did go and see the Doctor yesterday.....first time i have been able to see her since about 24 weeks mind you and she wants me to be in whyalla at 39 weeks just so that i dont have to travel 2 1/2 hours in labour (incase we dont get there in time) and then she took measurements and said going by size i am 37-38 weeks pregnant now, not 35!! OMG what am i supposed to do. We are going away on the 4th of Feb until the 11th so i cant go to whyalla till after that, and now i guess if her measurements are right i might have this baby while we are away!! Holding head, screaming! I have an appointment booked to see her on our way back from holidays (if i havent already had the baby) and she will do a scan then to check measurements and i guess we will then work out what we are going to do! Might have to stay there from then on, but what am i going to do with myself in whyalla for a week?? Any ideas??
So that is the latest from the drama room.....LOL!! just a waiting game now!

SCRAP CHAT!!

So where am i on the scrap road at the moment???? Havent done a lot really. I really knuckled down a couple of days before christmas and did a layout in a frame for all of the family, one was a set of three for my SIL! I Have never done anything like this before and i am so happy with the outcomes of them all.... i didnt want to give them away and now it is my mission to make a set for myself. Using the great family shots we had taken. This is what i managed to do!

So they were all of the christmas presents and it seemed overall that everyone thought that they were pretty good, which is nice!!

I am getting right into the challenges at blumars at the moment, the worst thing is that i am waiting on photos and havent got what i want to complete layouts. So i am getting a bit more done. I have a few things i really want to have done before i have the baby so i have to get into gear and step it up a notch or three..... I loved the colouring class that we did at blumars the other day it was fabulous, just got to finish it and i think i will even put a pic in here of the finished product. I am trying to get the quick technique challenge done too. All about using photo corners, but not as photo corners and i have what i think is a great idea, but i cant get the photo corners, i might have to make some for the challenge i think. I have never even used them as photo corners so it is great to get to use different products. :)

Otherwise the other thing i am enjoying is the photo challenges, i am really trying to put some thought into the one for this month, but havent got the right shot yet. I think what i would like to do is a bit difficult! And i really want to get some pregnancy photos too before it is too late, never done it before, and would like to include the other kids in it. So have to wait for DH to have a spare half hour to help out there.

On that that is all, i am going to finish updating blog and the rest of the day is booked out to SCRAP TIME!! Yay for me!

WOW, here i am, back again. I feel a bit bad that i havent been in for a while but catching up on other blogs and seeing that it is that time and everyone else hasnt been updating either makes me feel a whole lot better.

I guess i should start and say to all happy new year. It is making its way through the month very quickly now. I cant believe how quickly the last year dissappeared. And the beginning of this year is booked up to the hilt, so it is going to dissappear before we know it too.

So we had a really good christmas, quiet but nice. Kids had a ball and I was very spoilt myself. Go a Click N Kut Element!! OMG..... I couldnt believe it. Just trying to work it out now and get used to it. I just love that there are no limits with the machine. Even thought i might be able to start a little something (online shop) or something to sell chipboard and die cuts etc and make them to suit what individuals want. Will have to think about it all a bit more though!!

Had some fabulous family photos taken just before christmas. Had a friend take them and WOW they came up beautifully.

I have never had a real family photo taken, i am always behind the camera, so it was great to have someone do a small photo shoot for us.

Arent they just Georgous!!! I have enlarged and framed these photos and put them on my wall for all to see. They make me smile every time i look at them. It is just nice to be able to get some with me in them too!!

Ok so again it has been a while since i have dropped in, i am not really good at this at all. But i am trying. Christmas is just around the corner. Kids are excited. We put the christmas tree up on sunday and seth told me, "Im going to bed now and father christmas will come", trying to explain that you still have about 23 more sleeps was a task, but i think that we got it through. I think maybe we should put it up the day before christmas lol. I have taken a couple of christmas photos and sent out a christmas letter, not much as i was so late in doing so, no cards this year either as i havent had the time and probably wont before christmas time either.

I have days booked up for this week. I still have about 5 christmas presents i want to make, still dont know if they will be on a canvas or in a frame but i have to get them done, we are going camping for 5 or 6 days next week so i guess i best get stuck into it........ For now i will say a merry christmas and i hope that i can leave another message before the big Day. For now i am off to a christmas get together!!

OK so just a quick note to let all know that there is a whole new range of skincare out, and it is great. I am going to have a stand at my first craft fair and hopefully that get things out there a bit more. BABY

So yesterday saw me heading for my first ultrasound with this baby....about time i say!!! Only 22 weeks gone now and it is so busy around here with no doctors that i have only just been able to get in :(. I have put a profile shot here of the baby, not a very good one, but proud of it anyway......I think he/she knows i am telling all about it as while i am typing this i am getting a good boxing!! active little begger!!

I hope that some of you can make it out, we had a bit of trouble doing things as the baby had its knees tucked to its stomach and its hands cupped over its face, like a little boxer!!

Seth and Lexi are so excited, they loved to see the photo, not that it made much sense to them but they knew that they were looking at the baby that is in mums belly!!

I am really waiting for the movement to get physical enough that they can feel baby kicking and moving around as they would really get a grasp of things.

So lets just hope that the whole doctor thing works out.... I know i am praying!! It is really frightening really. AND i found out the other day that because there is no doctor in Cleve which is where we come back to be after having the baby for a few days (in the hospital), we arent allowed to come back!!! Now i am cross. I cant believe it!! There is no way that all of the family will stay in whyalla for four or more days while we are in hospital after the birth. It is always nice coming home to a hospital that has friendly faces, and now we cant do it. And what makes it worse is every two years we have a baby competition to raise money for the maternity rooms in the hospital, and we have just had one and made HUGE money and now no one can use the rooms!!!!!! AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!
